Legislative elections: The National Government seeks to include the UCR in the agreement with the PRO in the Province of Buenos Aires.

Amid the bidding wars for the upcoming legislative elections, theNational Government is seeking to expand its network of allies and is considering including the Radical Civic Union (UCR) in its agreement with the PRO ( Progressive Party of the People's Party) in one of Kirchnerism's main bastions. La Libertad Avanza (Freedom Advances) intends to include the Radicals in the dialogue table and remove Mauricio Macri from the negotiations. Macri criticized the Libertarian leaders for their "constant attacks" on the PRO (Progressive Party of the People's Party).

The Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace) told TN that President Javier Milei 's team is maintaining dialogue with the radical sectors through National Senator Maximiliano Abad , seeking to bridge the gap between the Buenos Aires Radical Party and the Libertarians. Abad's party confirmed this dialogue, but did not mention that it was related to the upcoming elections. In the Province of Buenos Aires, the Undersecretary of Socio-Urban Integration, Sebastián Pareja , is in charge of compiling lists for La Libertad Avanza.

At the same time, the government is seeking to continue negotiations with the PRO party, but without Macri's interference. The bridges the government has built with the yellow party are representatives Cristian Ritondo and Diego Santill , and mayors Guillermo Montenegro of Mar del Plata; Ramón Lanús of San Isidro; and Pablo Petrecca of Junín.

The La Libertad Avanza coalition maintains its position of attempting to integrate allied officials into the libertarian space, urging them to accept its agenda without imposing the seal of other parties. Negotiations are underway between Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency and head of LLA at the national level; and Eduardo "Lule" Menem, Undersecretary of Institutional Management and national leader; they hope to continue talks until the days before the closing of the lists.

In addition to the province of Buenos Aires, La Libertad Avanza will seek to implement a similar strategy in Chubut and Entre Ríos, governed by Ignacio Torres and Rogelio Frigerio, both from the PRO party and who have demonstrated a close relationship with the ruling party. Meanwhile, the Libertarians are seeking to reach an agreement in Chaco, where they have joined forces with provincial governor Leandro Zdero ahead of the May 11 elections.
