"Che Kristalina": Cristina took aim at the IMF managing director and criticized her for celebrating "a change that ruined us."

Cristina Kirchner once again posted her signature "che Milei" message on social media this Monday, but this time she took aim at the managing director of the International Monetary Fund , Kristalina Georgieva.

"Che Kristalina" , begins her message on her X account, and questions the statements of the IMF president to support the libertarian Government in October, assuring that she hopes that Argentina does not leave the change

"You know what's going on, Kristalina? WE'VE ALREADY HEARD THAT WORD HERE: 'CHANGE.' In 2015, Macri won with that slogan AND WITH THE PROMISE THAT NO ONE WAS GOING TO LOSE ANYTHING THEY ALREADY HAD because only what was wrong would be 'changed.' However, what came was austerity, record debt (just with you, $45 billion), capital flight, tariff increases, falling wages, factory closures, and loss of sovereignty," she wrote Monday morning.

"THE “CHANGE” YOU CELEBRATE RUINED US. AND NOW IT'S BACK, IN A SUPERCHARGED VERSION, WITH MILEI. Yes, yes, “change” is back… The one that suits you, Kristalina!" she continued, using capital letters to highlight complete sentences as she usually does in her latest posts.

Days ago, the IMF managing director praised Milei's economic program, although she warned of the risks the country would face and mentioned the global crisis, as well as domestic challenges.

“The country is going to elections in October. It's very important that the will for change not be derailed. So far, we don't see that risk materializing. But I would ask Argentina to stay the course,” he said.

CHEERS KRISTALINA… Last week, we Argentines were mourning the passing of our beloved Pope Francis, our fellow countryman. And, honestly, we didn't have time to keep up with every insolent thing being said from abroad… But I'M NOT GOING TO LET IT PASS YOU EITHER.

The current president of the Justicialist Party did not ignore the comments of the head of the Fund and responded with a lengthy message in which she blamed the organization for Argentina's situation of falling consumption, lack of investment, and lack of public works, among other issues.

"I'm telling you something, Kristalina: sooner or later THE PEOPLE WILL RETURN. They will find the way, the time, the right people, and the necessary banners to confront this model of impoverishment that you have been promoting for decades. Because people also have memory and dignity," she added.

"Hey Milei... don't worry, I haven't forgotten you."

In the same message, the former president added a postscript to the President, criticizing him for his participation in Pope Francis's funeral and calling it a "fake."

"Lula and Macron arrived at the wake to pay homage to Francis, as appropriate, before the coffin was closed. And you LANDED IN ROME WHEN THEY HAD ALREADY CLOSED ST. PETER'S BASILICA? Do me a favor... look at who's handling your agenda and protocol... and fire him or her," he posted.

However, this Monday, Chief of Staff Guillermo Francos said that the Argentine official delegation arrived as planned, "on schedule," and that they followed Vatican protocol.

"The participation of three presidents when Francis's coffin was being closed was circumstantial, but it wasn't an official invitation, so we went as planned," he said on Splendid radio.

For Cristina, Milei's participation in the funeral hides some reason. "OR DID YOU ARRIVE LATE FOR SOME OTHER REASON THAT WE ARGENTINES DON'T KNOW?" she asked.

Finally, in a second postscript, he pointed to "the hand-wavers," referring to national legislators, "who approve anything that has the IMF's stamp on it."

"I'm leaving you with a Clarín article from April 12, 2006, which states the following: "AFTER THE PAYMENTS FROM ARGENTINA AND BRAZIL, THE IMF MUST MAKE ITS OWN ADJUSTMENTS." "It will reduce its spending and sell part of its gold reserves because it has stopped receiving interest on loans to countries that have fully repaid their debts." "A bottle of water!" the former president concluded.
