The first calibration of the runway at Bogotá's El Dorado Airport is complete.

The Civil Aeronautics (Aerocivil) announced the completion of the calibration of the instrument landing system (ILS) on runway 14R at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá .

These actions, which are part of the tasks planned to ensure operational safety and optimize service delivery, were carried out this Sunday, starting at 7:00 a.m. and were expected to conclude by 12:00 p.m.

It's worth mentioning that these efforts were reduced due to activities carried out on one of the runways at the capital's airport terminal.

Now, all that remains is the calibration of the ILS systems, which will be carried out next Thursday, May 1 , which could also cause delays to some routes, but will not affect normal airport operations.

Aerocivil indicated that these efforts are essential to strengthening the safety and efficiency of air operations.
