Women's Euro: Norway first to qualify for quarter-finals

Norway is the first team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Women's European Championship football, underway in Switzerland. The Scandinavians, after the victory 2-1 against the Swiss, they obtained the same result against Finland in Sion, going top of Group A in full points. Switzerland, thanks to the 2-0 over Iceland, is second, with three points tied with Finland, while the Icelanders are last with zero points. The ranking directly concerns Italy, which is in the running in group B and in case of reaching the quarter-finals will face the first or the second of group A. The Azzurre will play tomorrow with the Portugal and in case of victory they would already qualify for the quarter-finals, although the position will be defined only after the challenge on July 11th with Spain, the tournament favorite.
