All Stars Arezzo celebrated two medals at Play The Games 2025

Arezzo, July 4, 2025 – Two medals for All Stars Arezzo Onlus at Play The Game 2025. A group of athletes from Arezzo competed in Colleferro in the most important interregional event of the Special Olympics circuit and, facing opponents from all over the peninsula, tested themselves in the unified bowls and volleyball competitions, returning to live an exciting experience of inclusion, meeting, autonomy and valorization of individual abilities.

In fact, Play The Games have seen athletes with disabilities and athletes without disabilities share the field with the aim of continuing a path of affirmation of the right to play and sport for all which in 2002 led to the birth of All Stars Arezzo Onlus within the “Madre della Divina Provvidenza” Institute of the Passionist Fathers of Agazzi.

The best results came in bocce where, for the first time, a competition was planned with unified trios consisting of two Special Olympics athletes and a partner athlete.

All Stars Arezzo Onlus, accompanied by coach Michele Amatucci, fielded two teams that both managed to get on the podium: the satisfaction of celebrating the gold was experienced by Silvano Cimosi, Franca Innocenti and Agei Donnini, but Mario Masobelli, Carlo Caldarelli and Lara Venturini also had a positive performance, managing to get the bronze medal.

A renewal involved the unified volleyball team which, led by Claudia Del Tongo and Sara Riccardi, also relied on boys and girls with their first experiences in an official competition, deserving third place in the most difficult divisioning group behind the local team Crescendo Insieme of Colleferro and Eunike of Albissola Superiore.
