What is Haul and how does it work, the new Amazon service that's making Temu tremble?

A new section of the platform brings together everyday products at discounted prices, with free shipping above a certain threshold and dedicated return policies, offering a convenient alternative for those who make frequent purchases.
Amazon has expanded its offerings with Amazon Haul, a section dedicated to those looking for everyday products at great prices, gathered together in one easy-to-navigate destination. From clothing to home goods, electronics and lifestyle accessories, Haul offers a broad and dynamic selection, designed to meet practical needs without sacrificing convenience.
Accessing Amazon Haul is easy. You can do so from both the mobile app and the desktop site: simply select "Haul" in the search bar or type the term manually. Alternatively, you can access the section via the three-line menu located in the bottom right of the mobile app or the top left of the desktop version. App users should ensure they have the latest version installed to properly access all features.
One of Amazon Haul's main strengths is its pricing policy, designed to encourage multiple purchases. Orders between €30 and €49.99 benefit from an automatic 5% discount, while orders over €50 receive a 10% discount. These benefits are complemented by free shipping on orders of €15 or more, a particularly affordable threshold for those looking to stock up on essential items. Orders of a lower value incur a flat shipping cost of €3.50.
Return policies are slightly different from Amazon's standard ones. Customers have 15 days from delivery to make a free return, but direct exchanges are not available. Furthermore, Haul items do not fall within the standard 30-day return window and are not eligible for Prime benefits, including expedited shipping. Delivery times also differ: expect up to two weeks, depending on your location.
Amazon Haul is not available for Amazon Business accounts and is aimed primarily at private consumers who want to save on frequent and commonly used purchases, without sacrificing the convenience of the platform. With this new section, Amazon aims to attract a price-conscious audience accustomed to stocking up periodically, offering a simple, centralized solution with automatic discounts. This strategy further expands the Amazon ecosystem, integrating convenience and affordability into a familiar yet targeted shopping experience.
