Flotilla, over 12 million mentions on social media X in 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, the largest amount of discussion about the Global Sumud Flotilla's crossing has taken place on social media X. Hashtags, including #blocchiamotutto, and the most relevant keywords have totaled over 12 million mentions, according to data from analytics firm Arcadia.

"Posts on X were also used to generate and encourage mobilization in Italian cities," the company states. On Elon Musk's platform, the most popular keywords were Hamas (9,976,075 mentions), Flotilla (765,959), Israel (684,688), and BlocchiamoTutto (32,728). Less intense, according to the analysis firm's findings, was "the polarization that fueled the Meta platforms." Here, the most popular keywords were Flotilla (4,452,071), followed by Flotilla (351,862), and Blocchiamo tutto (305,308 mentions).
