Florence, 22 May 2025 – If Eugenio Giani were to be a candidate for the presidency of the Tuscany Region of a coalition that unites centre-left forces and the M5S in the next regional elections , which will take place next autumn in Tuscany, he would garner 58% of the votes, compared to 37% for Alessandro Tomasi and 2% for the current mayor of Viareggio, Giorgio Del Ghingaro .
This is what emerges from a survey carried out by Emg Diffent for the Toscana TV broadcaster, conducted on a sample of 1,000 people contacted between 12 and 16 May.
Furthermore, 58% of those interviewed said that when it comes to voting for the regional elections they will vote for a centre-left party, with the PD collecting 32% of the votes, the Green-Side Alliance 7%, the Five Star Movement 6.5%, while a possible Giani President List would be voted for by 4% of those polled.
