Administrative elections 2025: voting on May 25 and 26, 2025, in the Marche region the citizens of Osimo (Ancona) and Sant'Elpidio a Mare (Fermo) go to the polls
Ancona, May 20, 2025 – A two-day period dedicated to the 2025 administrative elections is approaching: voting is also taking place in the Marche region. Two municipalities are called to renew their municipal council and elect a mayor: Osimo, in the province of Ancona, and Sant'Elpidio a Mare (Fermo). Voting will take place on Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26 , with a possible run-off on Sunday, June 8 and Monday, June 9. Voting will take place on the first day from 7:00 to 23:00 and on the second day from 7:00 to 15:00, when the counting will begin. Citizens will go to the polls to express their preferences among the candidates. All Italian citizens who have turned 18 can vote in the administrative elections. To vote, it will be necessary to present your electoral card and a valid identity document.
The elections in OsimoIn Osimo there are three candidates for mayor: Michela Glorio , candidate of the centre-left (eight lists in support with the parties Democratic Party and Five Star Movement), Michela Staffolani for Brothers of Italy, Rinasci Osimo and Viva Osimo, and Francesco Pirani (Pirani mayor, Osimo al centro and Progetto Osimo).
The elections in Sant'Elpidio a MareIn the province of Fermo, Sant'Elpidio a Mare is the only municipality where there will be a vote on May 25 and 26 for the renewal of the mayor and the city council. It will be a four-way race for the mayor's seat between Mirco Romanelli, Rossano Orsili, Enrico Piermartiri and Gionata Calcinari
