Dateo, 2 kg of drugs in the cooler: 26-year-old arrested

Milan, September 12, 2025 – A 26-year-old Ecuadorian man with a criminal record has been arrested by Milan State Police officers. He is charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics. According to reports, the operation began yesterday when officers from the Lambrate Police Station's Investigative Team identified an apartment in Piazzale Dateo as a suspected location for drug dealing and possession.

Standing at a distance, the officers intervened when the front door was opened and entered the home, where the 26-year-old was present. He attempted to evade detection by resisting arrest . In the bedroom, they found a cooler containing 27 packages of hashish weighing a total of 2 kilos, six bags of marijuana weighing 733 grams, two precision scales, and 270 bills of various denominations. The dealer is currently being held at the Milan Police Headquarters awaiting a summary hearing.
