Fitwalking with Ail, the solidarity walk for research returns

Sunday 28th September returns the appointment with Fitwalking for AIL, the solidarity walk non-competitive organized by AIL (Italian Association against (leukemia-lymphoma and myeloma) to raise funds for support scientific research and patient care with blood cancers and their families. Fitwalking for AIL, now in its ninth edition and created for celebrate World Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Day, continues to grow throughout Italy, returning to the forefront in many 38 cities, from North to South. Also this year the Fitwalking for AIL, which sees the patronage of the Ministry of Health and other institutional and associative realities, is included among the activities related to the Environment and Health project. According to the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, in fact, a integrated approach that includes the physical, social, economic, ecological and cultural of the territorial context is the only possible way to promote human health and environmental sustainability. The awareness-raising initiative, born in 2017, continues to be a special occasion for the patients and former patients to spend a day in the open air open, doing movement and physical activity. The relevant results in scientific studies and increasingly more therapies effective and targeted, have in fact determined a great improvement in diagnosis and treatment of patients hematological. Throughout the day, it will be possible to witness the solidarity with hematological patients by posting on social media from AIL a photo or video with the hashtag #versonuovitraguardi.
