Sicilian, Sardinian and klezmer music on stage at the Lenghis Festival

WATCH THE VIDEO REPORT . The Lenghis Festival in Gorizia celebrated an intense day yesterday dedicated to minority languages, theater, and music. From morning until night, the Kulturni Center and Piazza della Vittoria became a crossroads of cultures, where Friulian, Sicilian, and Sardinian intertwined in an artistic and musical dialogue.
Already in the morning, the Festival had offered an opportunity for direct discussion on the playwright's craft, laying the foundation for a debate on contemporary theatrical creation and its relationship with language.
The evening's closing event was a triumph of music. At the cultural center, a Klezmer concert revived traditional Jewish melodies with their characteristic energy and joy. Later, a jazz trio concluded the day with improvisations and contemporary sounds, confirming the Festival's commitment to celebrating linguistic and cultural diversity in all its expressive forms.
The Festival continues today with new languages on stage and further encounters between words, music, and identity.
