Salvatore Chillemi was found dead

Salvatore Chillemi, a 49-year-old Milanese man who had disappeared in Fortunago (Pavia), was found dead. The man's body was found on the afternoon of Monday, February 24, a few hundred meters from his Vespa. At the moment, it is not yet clear what caused his death and the police have not advanced any hypotheses.
An autopsy was ordered on the body, as decided by the magistrate on duty, but according to the first investigations, no obvious signs of violence were found. The alarm was raised by his sister, who had been unable to contact him since Saturday. On Sunday morning, the woman went to the 49-year-old's house in Fortunago without finding him and so she reported the case to 112.
On Sunday, during the search, firefighters found, thanks to the use of drones and the work carried out by a ground team, the man's cell phone, his motorbike and his helmet on the sides of a dirt road near the Costa Cavalieri hamlet of Fortunago (Pavia).
Salvatore Chillemi, born in Milan in 1975, would have turned 50 this year. Although he still lived in the metropolis, he had expressed several times, even to his sister, the desire to move permanently to the house he had purchased a few years ago in the Sant'Eusebio hamlet, in the municipality of Fortunago.
