'Garden for All'. The title of the musical event at the ' Marco Coletta ' park (now in its fifth year) was explained by Ferrara 's City Councilor for Security, Cristina Coletti: "You may be wondering why the City Councilor for Security is sitting here today to present this event," she said at a press conference. "The answer lies in the process of redeveloping that space. The aim, within the Safe Parks project, is to advance initiatives that enable our citizens to experience every space in the city."
On an open-air stage located beneath the skyscraper, a series of events will take place from August 1 to 10, 2025, organized in collaboration with local cultural associations, under the artistic direction of the Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Ferrara , and with executive production and organization by Ultimo Baluardo Aps (materials and graphics by Alpaca Società Cooperativa). "Our theater," explains Anna Rosa Fava, head of institutional relations for the Foundation, "is increasingly proving its active role in the programming of summer musical events, offering its professional expertise. We are convinced that synergies can provide the city with a diverse offering of events and performances."
The program opens on August 1st with the Ferrara Film Orchestra in Concert , a musical journey through cinema's most iconic soundtracks, curated by the Musicfilm Association. The following evening will be the turn of the ' Santa Balera ', with the Orchestra della Generazione Z del Liscio, for a project curated by Materiali Musicali. The Jazz Club will host the event on August 3rd, with the Hemon Mehari Peter Schlamb Quintet , which blends influences of jazz, R&B, and African music. On August 5th, the Ferrara Musicians Association will present Limite Acque Sicure , a progressive rock band from Ferrara, distinguished by their search for new musical solutions, experimenting beyond the usual canons.
Then, on August 6th, the Teatro Comunale will present Jelly & Jam feat. Las Rosas , an engaging mix of swing and Italian song, enhanced by performances by the Las Rosas dance troupe. There will also be I Mitici Anni Ottanta on August 8th (curated by Nada Mas Edizioni), while the following day will see ' Carino! Studio Murena ', an evening dedicated to music, food, and socializing, organized by Officina Meca. The festival closes on Sunday, August 10th with Alinere , a Nomadi tribute band, again curated by Nada Mas. All shows begin at 9 pm, with free admission.
