Bergerac to the rhythm of the Purple Jazz festival for three days

The 21st edition of the event will take over the city from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 May, with trumpeter Avishai Cohen as the headliner.
With 29 concerts and 145 musicians, the 21st edition of the Purple Jazz Festival will be rich and diverse. It will take place in Bergerac from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25. The opening will take place on Friday at 6 p.m., at Place Gambetta, in front of the Boîte de Jazz. Concerts will follow one after the other there, as well as at the Guinguette, in the center of the Artists' Village and the gourmet market. There will be discoveries to be made: Saturday, Grace Beauty in a tribute to Aretha Franklin; Sunday, Wessno Solo, a one-woman orchestra. Special attention will be given to young artists and female groups, such as The Blackettes.
The headliner will be Israeli trumpeter Avishai Cohen, who will play in a quartet with Yonathan Avishai on piano, Barak Mori on double bass, and Ziv Ravitz on drums. They will be at the cultural center on Friday, May 23, at 8:30 p.m.
