The Rimplas trail is getting tougher and is offering an extreme race on Saturday, May 24

The 8th edition of the Rimplas trail, on Saturday May 24, will be unlike the first seven, nor the other trails in the department.
For its tenth anniversary, the Team Rimplas association is launching the 2KV (double vertical kilometer). An extreme race: it will involve climbing a 2,050-meter elevation gain over a 9km course in the heart of the Mercantour National Park. A rare challenge, as there are only two races of this type in the Alps.
Does the challenge seem insurmountable? Don't give up: the 2KV is open as a relay, and you can always fall back on the KV and its 1,000 meters of elevation gain on a 4km loop overlooking the Tinée Valley.
The day will be enlivened by a pasta party and numerous activities: bike tour for children, electric bike testing for adults, etc.
