The former ATP Marseille tournament will be held at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Décines starting in 2026. The city will thus rediscover a renowned tennis competition in an ideal setting for its development.

It was at the LDLC Arena in Décines, this Thursday, September 4, that Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Thierry Ascione, heads of the "All in Group", officially presented the return of an ATP 250 tournament in the Lyon metropolitan area. Its name? " The Grand Prix Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes ", proudly declared Laurent Wauquiez, the former regional president, present in front of the press, before heading to Lyon to seal the alliance between Les Républicains and Jean-Michel Aulas .

The successor to the Open Parc Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, held from 2017 to 2024 at the Parc de la Tête d'Or, the tournament will take place from October 18 to 26, 2026. This is, however, a move from the Open 13 Provence , an ATP 250 which has been held in Marseille since 1993 and organized by Pampelonne Organisation, a subsidiary of the All In Group.

" Since 1997, we have always had tennis in Lyon. These are generations of Lyonnais who have been brought up on tennis. So, it is a great source of pride to host a new tournament in 2026 which, I hope, will live up to its history ," said Alexandre Aulas, president of the LDLC Arena.
