Ten derbies in Dordogne in the first round of the French Football Cup this weekend
For many Regional 3 and departmental clubs, the season also begins this weekend with the first round of the Coupe de France. In Dordogne, 47 clubs will be competing on Saturday or Sunday. There should have been 48, but Marquay-Tamniès, which was scheduled to host Beynat-Lanteuil, withdrew.
The others all have the ambition to reach a second round next week. For some, it won't be easy, sometimes with significant travel. While others will be just around the corner, like Limens JSA in Douzillac. In total, there will be ten Périgord derbies, including Ribérac – Pays de Montaigne on Saturday evening. Or, the next day, Condat-sur-Vézère, which reached the fourth round last year, against Périgueux Foot, as well as Marsaneix – Montignac, Bergerac Stella – Coulounieix-Chamiers and Pays de l'Eyraud – Annesse-et-Beaulieu.
