NBA: Jersey offered by Wembanyama to a child sold for $73,000

While he had offered his jersey to a child, the Frenchman saw that it was then put up for sale. And it fetched a very high price.

To disgust to be generous. At the end of December,Victor Wembanyama had been touched when he saw a young supporter asking him for his jersey. The boy had brandished a sign "Victor Wembanyama, do you want to exchange your jersey with me?" The Spurs pivot had given in and then posed next to the lucky youngster holding the precious jersey of the San Antonio star.

Except that a month later, Wemby noticed that the jersey was being sold on a website. Although he lamented it with a sad emoticon, the sale went ahead. The starting price was set at $10,000, and the bidding slowly rose to $33,000. Everything got wild on the last day, with a final sale price of $73,000 (a little less than 70,000 euros).

All products stamped "Wemby" see their ratings rise. Like the sale of the Panini Prizm Nebula Choice 1/1 2023 card by Victor Wembanyama this weekend. It was sold, still at auction, for 850,000 dollars.
