Lens player Salis Abdul Samed close to joining OGC Nice

Franck Haise will be reunited with an old acquaintance in Salis Abdul Samed, whom he had under his command for two seasons, between 2022 and 2024 (60 matches played).

The RC Lens midfielder was loaned to Sunderland (English D2) last season, with whom he played ten matches, hampered by a long-term psoas injury, and had a release certificate.

The Ghanaian international (21 caps) is due to travel to Nice this Thursday to begin his medical and will, if all goes well, be available for the reception of Toulouse on Saturday.

The transfer amount is between 1 and 2 million euros.

OGC Nice should also quickly register the arrival of striker Odsonne Edouard from Crystal Palace.
