New season, new broadcaster for Ligue 1 in 2025/2026. After the failure of DAZN, the Professional Football League was forced to launch its own broadcasting platform, Ligue 1+ , this summer. The subscription campaign will begin next Monday, August 11th before the first match of the season between Stade Rennais and Olympique de Marseille on Friday, August 15th at 8:45 p.m. , either on the app and platform of the same name, or via Samsung, DAZN, Free and Bouygues Telecom connected TVs. The following day, Ligue 1+ will be available on Orange and SFR and other broadcasters like Amazon Prime Video and Molotov are expected to follow. As a reminder, Canal + has "thrown in the towel" according to its president Maxime Saada due to a dispute with the LFP.
Initially, four offers were proposed: one, with a commitment, at €14.99 per month and the other, without commitment, at €19.99 per month. For those under 26, the price was reduced to €9.99 per month while a mobile-only offer was also announced at €14.99 per month. But this Thursday, LFP Media CEO Nicolas De Tavernost had a little surprise in store: an introductory offer at €9.99 for the first three months, provided you commit to 12 months by August 31. Another interesting feature of the Ligue 1+ platform: it will be possible to share your account with a user, simultaneously, even if they are not in the same household. However, this does not apply to the "under 26" and "mobile" offers, whose content will only be viewable on computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Skip the adWith Ligue 1+ only holding eight of the nine matches offered each weekend, you'll have to pay at least €15 more to watch the Saturday 5 p.m. match, which BeIN Sports has kept this year. The terms of this last match remain to be defined, as the Qatari channel has been in open conflict with the LFP for several weeks, causing constraints on its programming. What is certain is that you'll have to pay at least €25 to access the entire French Championship next season. This is a price lower than DAZN's when it launched last season, which offered a subscription plan at €29.99.
