By Charlotte Dalmont

Ludovic Laduche and Mikel Mancisidor won their semi-final in two sets against Bixente Gonzalez and Unai Lekerika

It 's the final stretch of the Summer League. The fourth Masters began in Saint-Jean-de-Luz on Thursday, August 7. The first semi-final pitted Ludovic Laduche and Mikel Mancisidor against Bixente Gonzalez and Unai Lekerika.

The former won the first set by a comfortable margin, 15-08. Gonzalez-Lekerika struggled to get into the game and made numerous glove errors. Laduche-Mancisidor often put them in defensive positions and didn't give them many opportunities to attack.

In the second set, however, Laduche-Mancisidor had to work hard to win. Gonzalez-Lekerika were more precise in their shots and began to sow doubt among their opponents, who were a little more nervous. The two teams remained neck and neck until 13-all.

Laduche-Mancisidor finished as bosses, winning 15-13. They will play the final next Thursday. Meanwhile, on Tuesday at 9:45 p.m., the second semifinal will pit Eñaut Urreisti and David Minvielle against Jon Tambourindéguy and Imanol Lopez.
