"I feel a bit guilty about it": Isack Hadjar, disappointed after the Miami GP

Isack Hadjar (11th, Racing Bulls) on Canal+: "It's a shame. When I look back at the stint I did, I was really struggling with the car. There were still two or three mistakes and during the stint, there was a good second to make up, so I blame myself a little, but I think Yuki (Tsunoda) also made mistakes. It was complicated. We lost everything in the first stint, when the first virtual safety car came out. I restarted with a bit too much of a gap to the front and I had problems with the brakes. When Lewis (Hamilton) overtook me, I went straight on, I dirty my tires and I fell behind the group in front.

(On his battle with Lewis Hamilton) It's frustrating because I wanted to have a good battle with him, but I couldn't brake the way I wanted, so I was suffering. And in the end, I lost time and I made him lose time, so it's a bit of a shame."

"We will continue to push and have more performance for the next race knowing that the team has a plan to improve the car."

Esteban Ocon (12th, Haas): "We lacked performance. We weren't as quick as the cars in front, we got left behind. The car felt pretty good, but we just lacked performance. We were unlucky, we missed our pit stop by a hair (during the safety car) and didn't gain any time with that. And at the start, we lost because I chose the wrong side with Norris, who had to slow down after Turn 3. And we lost a place to Tsunoda. All of that means we're out of the points. We'll keep pushing and have more performance for the next race knowing that the team has a plan to improve the car."

(On his battle with Lewis Hamilton) Normally, I never defend. I knew he was faster than us and that he was going to finish in front. But I was tired of being passive. We didn't have the speed, sure, but he was going to stay behind for a few laps. (Laughs.) Well, we managed to keep Lewis behind for five or six laps. It was a great battle.
