MPs Christophe Bentz (RN), Nicole Dubré-Chirat (Renaissance), Justine Gruet (LR), Yannick Monnet (PCF) and Sandrine Rousseau (Les Écologistes) participated assiduously in the debates surrounding the text on assisted dying, the examination of which was completed on Saturday, May 24. They tell us about it.
"I'll have some lemon water, I already drink way too much coffee." This Thursday, May 22, outside the chamber, MP Justine Gruet (Les Républicains) begins her forty-fourth hour of debate on the bill on the right to assisted dying, which began examination on Friday evening, May 16. Forty-four hours, not counting those spent on strengthening palliative care, nor those of the Social Affairs Committee, and even less those of last year, before the dissolution.
