Chalon-sur-Saône. A legacy of €20,000 to maintain Notre-Dame de la Citadelle

A Chalon resident has decided to make a gesture in favor of one of the town's religious buildings. Marie Tenkes left a bequest of €20,000, which is to be used exclusively for the maintenance, repair, and operation of the Notre-Dame de la Citadelle chapel. A chapel that overlooks the neighborhood. The city accepted this bequest. The Chalon resident died on October 21, 2024, at the age of 91.
