The old nightie regains its splendor. Stretched out on the hanger, the lace reveals all its softness. Of course, there's still the turquoise voile to smooth out and the little bows to straighten. Washed and restyled, the lingerie piece will find a new life on the secondhand market. Bras and brassieres, corsets, and even panties join the shelves of thrift stores and clothing platforms. Underwear is resold.
It's Déborah Jaouen, 30, who inspects the nightie from every angle. The Nice resident, who runs the Avengreen website, sells second-hand women's underwear. She only accepts "excellent condition ." Bras with "loose" straps, "deformed" underwire, and "pilled" cups are therefore excluded. Is the color bright? Is the label still there? That's the key to taking photos and a delicate "30-degree" wash. The negligee is ready to return to the market.
