Shakira creates uncertainty in Mexican soccer: why is her tour raising alarm?

Colombian artist Shakira has her fans going crazy with the development of her concert tour that is currently taking place in Colombia, with performances in Bogotá this Wednesday and Thursday. However, in the world of football her tour has caused some calendar disruptions, not only in the Betplay League.
After her iconic shows in Barranquilla, her hometown, Shakira participated anonymously, along with her children and friends, in the traditional Guacherna, one of the main events of the Barranquilla Carnival. Later, she was seen in a shopping center in the city.

Now, prior to her presentation in Bogotá, it was learned that the Barranquilla native visited Zona T, in the north of the capital, where she surprised those present and caused a sensation.
On February 26 and 27, Shakira hopes to captivate thousands of people in the country's capital, as she will perform at the Nemesio Camacho El Campín Stadium, where some fans have been camping since Tuesday, February 25.

Shakira's tour has inevitably had an impact on football, as her performances in stadiums have forced scheduled matches to be changed. For example, the Copa Libertadores match between Santa Fe and Iquique this Tuesday had to be played at the Techo stadium and not at El Campín, due to the preparation of the set-up.

Now the problem is in Mexico, as the Monterrey club, where the Spaniard Sergio Ramos has just arrived, is on alert to see if it has to change its home team for the Concachampions match.
Shakira's concerts at the BBVA Stadium, scheduled for next Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13, would force the club to look for an alternate venue, in case the Vancouver Whitecaps of Canada advance to the next round and are their opponents.
"The Albiazul board is analyzing alternatives for playing away from home. The TSM Corona stadium, home of Santos Laguna in Torreón, appears to be the most viable option due to its proximity to Monterrey. Another venue being considered is the Hidalgo Stadium in Pachuca, although logistics favor the Comarca Lagunera," reports the newspaper Récord de México.
There is still an alternative to avoid this change of venue and that is for Deportivo Saprissa to eliminate Vancouver in the return match, scheduled for this Thursday, February 27. Thus, the first leg match against Rayados will be away.
