Fifa revolutionizes football: these will be the four new rules that are being studied

FIFA is always looking to modernise football, to give it a new face, and that is why it will propose changing the rules of football in the coming days.
It is said that the entity is seeking to change the dynamics of the matches in order to ensure that the spectacle is not lost.
New rules proposed by FIFA to make football more attractive The International Football Association Board (Ifab) will be the body in charge of studying the proposal on March 1st and if approved, it will begin to be implemented in lower divisions and grassroots football from the middle of this year.
“The first was proposed by the legendary former French coach Arsène Wenger and it represents a turning point in the way offside works. With the new rule, offside would only occur when a player passes the entire body of the last defender. This would give the attacker a considerable advantage and would mean that very few defenders would be seen moving forward,” says the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

The newspaper indicates that the second consists of the referees explaining their decision with a microphone to the entire stadium after consulting the VAR , providing great transparency to the game, but potentially provoking mixed reactions in the stands.

The third rule states that each coach is responsible for deciding when to request the intervention of the video referee to limit the actions of the VAR in a match.

"The fourth proposal is to give the referee the power to stop the clock to investigate a contentious situation or in the case of a serious injury, in order to avoid the loss of effective playing time," the newspaper said.
