Apple achieves its highest quarterly revenue ever: 88.6 billion euros

Apple achieved its best quarter ever in terms of revenue this past summer, with total sales of $102.5 billion (€88.6 billion), an 8% year-over-year increase. Diluted earnings per share were $1.85, a 13% increase compared to the period from July to September 2024, corresponding to the fourth fiscal quarter. Apple's board of directors also announced a cash dividend of $0.26 per share of the company's common stock , payable on November 13.
Tim Cook, Apple's CEO , celebrated the company's new sales milestone in a document that highlights the new revenue record and recalls the launch of "the best iPhone lineup ever , including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, and iPhone Air. We also launched the fantastic AirPods Pro 3 and the new Apple Watch lineup. Add to that the recently announced MacBook Pro and iPad Pro with the powerful M5 chip, and we're thrilled to share our most extraordinary product lineup for the holiday season."
For his part, Apple's Chief Financial Officer, Kevan Parekh, stated that "the results for the September quarter capped a record fiscal year, with revenues reaching $416 billion, as well as double-digit growth in earnings per share."
The same chief financial officer of the Cupertino company pointed out that "thanks to our very high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, our installed base of active devices also reached a new all-time high across all product categories and geographic segments."
