The First the Base Movement supports D'Aza as the PRM candidate.

During an event, the First the Base Movement was officially launched , a structure of the Modern Revolutionary Party ( PRM ), chaired by Fabio Ruíz and made up of grassroots leaders, political and social sectors.
During the event, held at the Calero Club in Santo Domingo Este, Fabio Ruíz swore in Víctor D'Aza , demonstrating his support as a presidential candidate for the PRM 's internal process.
"Today, before God and before this working people, we ask Víctor D'Aza to take on the commitment to represent those who have always been the strength of the party, its base. He belongs to us, why should we vote for anyone else? We trust in his management skills and his social sensitivity," Fabio Ruíz said, according to a press release.
For his part, D'Aza agreed to represent the rank and file of the Modern Revolutionary Party and affirmed that he wants to be president of the Republic to continue strengthening the extraordinary administration of President Luis Abinader.
"My commitment is to continue promoting a grassroots, inclusive government that combats inequality from the municipal level and builds well-being from the bottom up," D'Aza said.
Likewise, Rafael Santos , Víctor D' Aza's campaign director , stated that together with the Primero la Grassroots movement, Víctor will be forming a great force that will bring services, opportunities, and development to every corner of the country.
Present at the launch were Jesús Colón, Secretary General of the Santo Domingo Este Mayor's Office; Dharuelly D'Aza, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies; Ney Rodríguez, Senator for the province of Dajabón; and the mayors of Fantino, Villa La Mata, and Guayabal, as well as numerous other mayors.
The First the Base Movement emerged from within the PRM as a response to maintaining and strengthening internal democracy.
