These people can obtain appliances with the CFE program.

Upgrading a washing machine, refrigerator, or other essential household appliance isn't always easy: the cost and finding energy-efficient equipment can be a challenge.
In response, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) offers an affordable alternative through the Comprehensive Systematic Savings (ASI) program.
This scheme allows users to obtain financing to purchase high-efficiency appliances at a lower cost, with the ease of paying in installments of up to 48 months through direct charges to the electricity bill.
Among the products included in the program are washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, and even photovoltaic systems. These are the people who can access this program.
Requirements to access the CFE ASI programTo purchase new appliances with CFE support, these individuals must meet the following conditions:
- Be of age
- Have at least three years of uninterrupted electrical service
- That the energy bill is in your name
- Present proof of ownership
- Have a joint guarantee
- Show valid official identification with photo and signature (of the applicant and the guarantor)
Financing is free, and to begin the process, you can call 800-027-4220 or visit the program's official website to request a quote for the appliance you need.
The available washing machines and refrigerators comply with the current Mexican Official Standard and are distinguished by their efficiency: they reduce water and energy consumption, come with a one-year warranty on the equipment and a ten-year warranty on the inverter motor. Capacity ranges from 14 to 22 kilos, and financing can cover from one to four years.
With the ASI program, the CFE seeks not only to facilitate the replacement of household appliances, but also to promote energy savings in Mexican homes.
