Ivo would cause heavy rains in at least four states

Tropical Storm Ivo, located west-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco, and southeast of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, will bring heavy rains to Jalisco, Nayarit, Colima, and Michoacán.
According to information from the National Meteorological System, the storm is maintaining maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h, with gusts of 110 km/h and moving northwest at 35 km/h, generating storm conditions in states along the Mexican Pacific coast.
Cloud formations from the system will cause heavy rains, ranging from 75 to 150 millimeters, in central, western, and coastal Jalisco, as well as Nayarit; very heavy rainfall, ranging from 50 to 75 mm, in Colima and Michoacán; and showers in southern Baja California Sur.
High waves of 3 to 4 meters and wind gusts of 50 to 70 km/h are expected along the coasts of Jalisco, Colima, and Michoacán, while waves of 1 to 2 meters are expected along the southern coast of Baja California Sur. The rains could be accompanied by lightning and hail, increasing the risk of flooding in low-lying areas, and landslides in mountainous regions.
High temperatures
Despite the rain, the weather will remain hot to very hot across much of the country. In Baja California, the northeast will record temperatures above 45°C, while Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas are expected to experience temperatures between 40 and 45°C.
