So you don't get late for a night out! Mexico City Metrobus Line 1 , which runs along Insurgentes Avenue from the Indios Verdes station to El Caminero, announced it will modify its schedules next weekend.
The measure provides that on Friday, September 12th and Saturday, September 13th, the service will be extended until 1:00 a.m., in order to meet the growing demand of users during the night and offer more mobility alternatives to the city's residents.
According to the official Metrobús statement , the routes that will have extended hours will be:
- Green Indians–The Roadman
- Green Indians–Insurgents
In both cases, the last departures will be from Insurgentes station at 1:00 a.m., which represents an additional hour of service compared to the usual midnight closing time.
Which Metrobús Line 1 routes will remain unchanged?The following Line 1 routes will maintain their regular schedule, concluding operations at midnight:
- Green Indians–Dr. Gálvez
- Buenavista–El Caminero
- Green Indians–Santa Cruz Atoyac People
Metrobús stated that during the extended schedule, buses will operate at approximately 10-minute intervals, allowing passengers to enjoy consistent and safe service to return to their destinations.
Regular service, from Monday to Sunday, from 4:30 a.m. to midnight, will remain unchanged.
