After three consecutive competitive defeats, including a semifinal exit to the Vancouver Whitecaps of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, Inter Miami, led by superstar Lionel Messi, has returned to winning ways. On Matchday 11 of the MLS, the Florida team defeated the New York Red Bulls 4-1 with Sandro Schwarz on the bench. Schwarz relied on well-known names from the Bundesliga, including former Leipzig player Forsberg and former Bayern Munich player Choupo-Moting in the starting eleven.
Even before the break it becomes clearBut Miami got off to the perfect start. Picault scored the 1-0 lead after just nine minutes, with Weigandt (30') and Suarez (39') adding further goals to seal the tie early on. Choupo-Moting managed to pull one back shortly before halftime (43').
But things were no longer exciting after the break, and after 61 minutes, Messi restored the old three-goal lead with his fourth goal of the season, which Miami safely brought to the finish and celebrated its sixth win of the season.

With this victory, the Florida team jumps to fourth place in the Eastern Conference and is back on the winning track. The Red Bulls, on the other hand, are only in ninth place in the standings.
