Rheinmetall: Strong growth in the defense business drives quarterly figures

The defense company Rheinmetall continues to benefit from growing defense spending in the wake of the Ukraine war. In the first quarter, sales in the military business increased by around 73 percent, leading to a sales increase of around 46 percent to €2.305 billion for the entire group, the company announced.
