Elite World Hotels to open a hotel in Amsterdam

One of Türkiye’s leading hotel chains, Elite World Hotels & Resorts, continues its expansion through its franchise business model, introduced in 2022. As part of its growth strategy, the chain announced its 2025 targets at a press conference held on February 26 at Elite World Istanbul Taksim.
Elite World Hotels & Resorts has set an ambitious goal of reaching 50 hotels by 2030. For 2025, the company will focus on rapid expansion across Anatolia while making a strong entry into Europe. The brand’s international growth strategy took off last year when it signed an agreement to open its first overseas hotel in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast. In 2024, the focus shifts to European cities.
First European hotel to open in AmsterdamIn line with its international expansion, Elite World has announced plans to open its first European hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands. A partnership agreement has been signed between Elite World Hotels & Resorts and VASTEB Invest B.V. for the development of Elite World Comfy Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The hotel, set to open in September 2026, will feature 123 rooms, a restaurant, and a fitness center. The chain also aims to expand into other European cities, marking 2025 as the year of its European expansion.
Rapid growth across AnatoliaDomestically, Elite World plans to accelerate its expansion in Anatolian cities. Aligning with Türkiye’s tourism diversification policies, the company aims to unlock the hidden tourism potential of various niche destinations across the region. By focusing on 3- and 4-star hotel categories, Elite World will address the demand for quality accommodations in emerging tourism hubs.
New brands to meet evolving customer needs
Speaking at the press conference, Emel Elik Bezaroğlu, Elite World Hotels & Resorts Board Member Responsible for Sales and Marketing emphasized the brand’s commitment to expanding its world-class hospitality services across Türkiye and beyond:

Targeting Germany and the UKCEO Orkun Petekçi outlined the company’s global roadmap for the coming years:
“This year, we are embarking on a new global journey. Following our entry into Ivory Coast last year, we are now focusing on Europe. Our first step will be the opening of our Amsterdam hotel in September 2026. Additionally, we are finalizing agreements to expand into other major European cities. By 2025, we plan to establish our brand in key markets such as Germany and the United Kingdom. Simultaneously, we will accelerate growth in Anatolian cities, aiming to revitalize local tourism and expand into underdeveloped regions with high tourism potential. Our goal for 2025 is to achieve sustainable growth in partnership with investors, maintaining our innovative and dynamic approach.”
