Industry for Defense. The Ministry of National Defense wants to strengthen cooperation with business and science.

In September, the Ministry of National Defense launched an application form for companies wishing to cooperate with the military.

Contact the Polish Army, share your information, and we'll get back to you," Cezary Tomczyk (KO), 10th Deputy Minister of Defense, reminded the Polish People's Republic (PKO) in a video posted on Sunday (October 5).
As we read on the website of the Ministry of Defence, this tool allows companies and research and development centres to submit proposals for products, research and development projects and scientific research which – according to the submitters – can be used in the ongoing and planned modernisation programmes of the Armed Forces.
Applications will be reviewed by the appropriate Ministry of National Defense institutions. The Ministry of National Defense reserves the right to contact only selected entities whose offers are deemed particularly relevant to the needs of the Polish Armed Forces.
Applications should be sent to the appropriate institutions in accordance with the division of competences by selecting them from the drop-down list in the "Addressee" field.
The Ministry of National Defense provides the scope of possible cooperationRecipients:
- Armaments Policy Department - offers of services/products in the armaments area; participation in the process of preparing tasks planned for inclusion in the "Plan to secure the needs of the Armed Forces implemented by Entrepreneurs";
- Inspectorate of Unmanned Weapon Systems - training offers, product and software demonstrations in the field of unmanned weapon systems in the air, land, sea and anti-drone domains; Command of the Cyberspace Defense Forces Component - scientific research (cryptology, cybersecurity, computerization);
- Department of the Military Health Service - scientific research (medicine and medical support);
- Armaments Agency - scientific research (defense techniques and technologies);
- Department of Innovation - scientific research (other).
The first edition of the Industry for Defence conference will take place on October 15 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
It will be a meeting of leaders of industry, science and administration, devoted to building Poland's resilience and defense potential in the face of new geopolitical and technological challenges.
The event program will include issues such as cybersecurity, resilient and crisis-ready infrastructure and logistics, and cooperation between the defense industry and science.
It will be an event accompanying the New Industry Forum and the Toolex and EXPOWelding fairs.
