Lee Anderson savagely slaps down Labour MP over Nigel Farage complaint

Lee Anderson lashed out at a Labour MP after she complained about Nigel Farage visiting her constituency without informing her. Linsey Farnsworth, who represents Amber Valley, accused the Reform leader of breaking parliamentary protocol.
She shared one of the Clacton MP's posts on X which featured a series of pictures of him out campaigning ahead of next month's local elections. Ms Farnsworth said: "The third photo is of you in my constituency where you appear to have attended without notifying me as required by the rules of courtesies and behaviour of the House. Care to apologise?!!"
Why don't you apologise to the farmers, pensioners and the disabled? Parliamentary protocol or not just gey your priorities right. https://t.co/zvlUZZvFUc

But Reform MP Mr Anderson hit back as he told her to "get your priorities right".
He referred to Labour's winter fuel payment axe, inheritance tax raid on farmers and benefit cuts.
The Ashfield MP said: "Why don't you apologise to the farmers, pensioners and the disabled? Parliamentary protocol or not just get your priorities right."
Ms Farnsworth then replied to Mr Anderson: "Ey up Lee. Great that this has come to your attention.
"As chief whip for Reform UK Party Ltd maybe you could remind your MPs of the etiquette of the house? Cheers duck."
By convention, MPs intending to visit another constituency as part of their political work should inform the local MP.
