Win Metawin Sports Yellow Sneakers, the Next Big Shoe Trend of 2025
Win Metawin is the latest celeb to help launch the next big summer shoe trend: yellow sneakers. The Thai actor may have worn a head-turning all-leather ‘fit to Prada’s spring-summer 2026 menswear fashion show in Milan, but it’s a more low-key look from his trip that’s catching our eyes thanks to the choice of footwear.
Photographed in a Milan train station, Metawin wore a pair of the $975 Prada Collapse Re-Nylon and Suede Elasticized Sneakers in Topaz. The trendy yellow sneakers juxtaposed with an otherwise neutral outfit of white pants, a black tee, and a gray denim jacket. A small nylon backpack and keychain on the belt loop completed the look.
Harry Styles was also recently spotted wearing the same exact sneakers, styled with a simple black sweater and red gym shorts. Styles made the sneakers pop by opting for even more yellow accessories: a purple baseball cap with yellow lettering, a yellow phone case, and a yellow tote bag.
Just like the butter nails trend, it seems like yellow sneakers are also having a moment. Tate McRae recently sported the Adidas x Bad Bunny Ballerina Sneakers in a bright banana hue. Tyla recently showed off her pair of yellow throwback sneakers from Nike as well.
Among the hottest shoe trends of the year, retro styles have been taking over the sneaker world. The more round-toed and narrow-soled silhouettes gaining popularity mark a shift from the chunky sneakers of the early 2020s. Along with the sleeker models among traditional styles, we’ve also seen taekwondo and ballerina sneakers gain momentum this season. The niche pair of sneakers Win Metawin wore are similar to the latter as the fitted shape, round toe, and shiny satin-like nylon give it a balletcore feel. It's a totally low-key take on a buzzy trend.
