Where to Buy Belly's Red Lipstick From The Summer I Turned Pretty Finale

In the finale episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty series, we see a new Belly Conklin (played by Lola Tung), or Isabel, to her new, very attractive and chic Parisian friends. Isabel rides around on mopeds with men who pine after her. She rides a scooter! She has a bob! And, most importantly, she wears oxblood red lipstick — that, spoiler alert, will later be smudged all over Conrad's (Chris Briney) face.

Alongside the excellent acting by Tung, who had to make a fairly drastic character shift in just one episode, this lipstick did heavy lifting in the changes we see. It represents the independence she gained during her year abroad, but it's also used as a tool to highlight her insecurity about when she runs back into her apartment to reapply.

“It's very disorienting when someone who you don't expect to be outside of your door is outside your door to what is happening," Tung tells Teen Vogue about the lipstick moment. “I think she is more confident and more secure now, so she's able to sort of be cool and calm and collected, even if she's just putting it on for a little bit.”

Of course, it's also the lipstick that is center stage when she and Conrad finally get together — making it a sort of transferred symbolism for both characters… If you catch my drift…
