We Are Simply Head Over Heels for Anna Sawai as Vogue Japan’s July 2025 Cover Star…

There’s no denying the fact that Vogue Japan (and most other editions of Vogue) is a shadow of its former self. However, that doesn’t mean the magazine completely fails to command our attention from time to time. Over recent months, covers featuring Kiko Mizuhara, Amelia Gray, and Lulu Tenney have caught our attention – for reasons both good and bad. Tiffany Godoy, who has served as head of editorial content since 2022, welcomes Anna Sawai onto the cover of Vogue Japan for July 2025. The Japanese Golden Globe Award-winning actress poses before the lens of photographer Nick Yang for the occasion, with Rena Semba on styling duties. In the chic cover photo, Sawai is dressed in a look from the Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2025 collection (shown in Kyoto, Japan by Maria Grazia Chiuri back in April).
