Kylie Jenner Found the Trendiest Lip Combo for Fall 2025

It’s only fitting that Kylie Jenner would find the trendiest lip color of fall 2025 early. The beauty entrepreneur put a twist on the pale lips trend, giving it the perfect autumnal vibe.

On August 24, 2025, Jenner took to Instagram to share a few selfies in her car. While the car might have been bright orange, she opted to wear more neutral tones. She opted for a bright white tank top and leather pants, though we only got a glimpse of the outfit. We did get a close-up look at her glam, though, and it did not disappoint. She wore a light brown eyeshadow, shaped and smoked out like a cat eye.

Jenner also went for a peachy blush, emphasized by the car’s orange interior. The focal point of her look, however, was without a doubt her lip combo, a pale pink satin lipstick, so muted it almost looks gray, with a thin line of cool-toned brown. The look falls right in line with experts' forecasted fall 2025 trends.

Over the past year, we’ve seen a resurgence of lighter lip colors. Pantone kickstarted it by naming mocha mousse the color of 2025, a stark juxtaposition to the deep, warm-toned mocha trend. The year started with milk tea lips, a light brown with pink undertones, trending. Taking things to the next level, concealer lips also made a comeback in the spring, to the dismay of many. But if you’re not ready — or willing — to go that far, Jenner's muted pink color is an excellent middle-ground alternative for the fall.

Different finishes have had their different eras as well. Satin pale lips ruled the early 1990s, and in the 2000s, they got an update with ultra-glossy or sparkly finishes. While the latter has already made a comeback, it seems the former may have another heyday with Jenner's stamp of approval. It’s likely the next step before we go back to the 2010s with matte lipsticks in vampy hues, including muted browns.
