Hailey Bieber Shares Her One Rule for Getting Botox

Hailey Bieber is getting blunt about Botox.
The Rhode Skin founder denied using the injectable for cosmetic purposes, revealing that she’s given herself a minimum age requirement for seeking it out.
“I made a commitment to myself that I wasn't going to do any Botox until I was in my 30s,” Hailey, 28, told Owen Thiele on the Oct. 24 episode of his In Your Dreams podcast. “When I get there I'll see if I even want to do it.”
But the model—who shares son Jack Blues Bieber, 14 months, with husband Justin Bieber—has made one notable exception to her self-imposed rule, revealing she uses the injectable in her jaw to treat her temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. The drug is considered a viable option for managing chronic jaw pain, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
As for Botox’s cosmetic benefits, Hailey was less eager to partake, noting that her mom Kennya Baldwin has avoided adding it to her own beauty routine.
“My mom has no Botox,” she continued. “My mom does nothing to her skin and she looks insane.”
Hailey did note that she is “really diligent” when it comes to her skincare, but has sought other treatments in the past. In addition to laser treatments, she described getting Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF), both of which draw from a patient’s own blood.
“I like to do things that I can trust is from your own body,” she explained. “I'm just consistent with things like that. I do that a couple times a year.”
Of course, Hailey’s commitment to skincare has paid off in spades—after all, she sold her company to e.l.f. Beauty in May as part of a $1 billion deal. But despite the massive figure, the entrepreneur said she wants to keep her feet firmly planted on the ground.
“I want to preserve that for my son's future,” she said in an interview with WSJ. Magazine published Oct. 14. “It's an amount of money that I have not dealt with before, so I just want to be smart with it.”
