Emily Ratajkowski on the Cover of British ELLE Feels ‘Totally Meh’ for July/August 2025

Kenya Hunt might not have managed to inject the spark back into British ELLE since taking up the mantle as editor, but that still hasn’t stopped Hunt from securing a wealth of talent as cover stars. Throughout 2025 alone, names like Dakota Johnson, Emma Corrin, Lady Gaga, and Cynthia Erivo have covered the Brit fashion title. Up next on the cover of British ELLE is Emily Ratajkowski. The London-born American model, actress, and current face of Gucci makes a return to the cover, three years after her last appearance. In the soft and pretty July/August 2025 cover photo captured by Morgan Maher, Ratajkowski wears Prada – a look that was selected for the occasion by cover shoot stylist Natasha Wray.

“Paid for by Prada it seems…” immediately voiced a disapproving Kite.

“Is she still a thing?” asked Hchloe.

WAVES most definitely wasn’t buying it. “They went for mediocre, and they nailed it! All of it, cover included. Bland AF, good grief!”

“The cover makes her look like a cartoon,” shrieked an unimpressed oaklee91.

There’s something very British Harper’s Bazaar about the cover but it’s very bland and uneventful – and that’s coming from an Emily Ratajkowski fan.
