Blue Ivy Had 5 Outfit Changes During Cowboy Carter Tour Opening, Including a Deep-Cut Beyoncé Tribute — See Photos

Beyoncé has officially kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour, and she's not the only one with outfit changes aplenty. Enter: Blue Ivy Carter.
On April 28, 2025, Beyoncé hosted the first show on the long-anticipated tour at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. If the Renaissance tour had taught us anything, it was to expect opulence and family cameos aplenty. However, the first show of the Cowboy Carter tour far exceeded our expectations, especially when it came to Blue Ivy's involvement.
During the Renaissance tour, Beyoncé's eldest daughter stole the spotlight during a portion of the show, joining her mother and an army of dancers on stage to perform "My Power" and "Black Parade."

Since those early Renaissance shows, Blue Ivy's confidence on stage has grown tremendously, and we've since seen the 13-year-old accompanying Beyoncé on stage regularly, whether it's on tour, at the NFL Christmas Halftime Show, or in Dubai — and she always gives us style inspo to boot.
The Cowboy Carter tour takes it to the next level, with Blue Ivy becoming a star in her own right on stage with a whooping five outfit changes complementing Beyoncé’s — including a very ‘00s-inspired set featuring a collage of newspaper clippings.
Blue Ivy first joins Beyoncé on stage for Act I in an all-white cowboy look, complete with silver tassels, chaps, and a white hat with an Off-White tank under her vest. For Act II, the mother-daughter duo and all the dancers change into newspaper attires reminiscent of John Galliano's iconic design for Dior's fall 2000 collection, which Carrie Bradshaw famously wore in Sex and The City.
