Ayo Edebiri Poses for Ethan James Green on the ‘Divine’ WSJ. Magazine June/July 2025 Cover

OK, we admit that WSJ Magazine doesn’t command our attention like it once did when Kristina O’Neill was at the helm. Since the summer of 2023, Sarah Ball has been installed as the publication’s editor-in-chief, and covers just do not hit like they once did. The last time the title captured our attention (and for all the wrong reasons) was when Blackpink’s Lisa became cover girl. Up next on the cover of WSJ Magazine for June/July 2025 is Ayo Edebiri. Forum favorite Ethan James Green was called upon to profile the American actress and comedian, complete with Tonne Goodman reporting for styling duties. In the crisp cover shot, Edebiri poses against a sleek white studio backdrop, and crouches on the floor in a pair of black stiletto pumps and wearing a chic sleeveless Stella McCartney number.

“WOW! Divine. American Vogue should take some notes,” admired matheus_s upon seeing the cover.

“Great cover. Ayo Edibiri looks amazing, and it captures her energy,” thiago enthused.

“Very nice!” echoed forum member thenewclassic.

Sharing the same level of enthusiasm was miyawaki. “Gorge! Ayo is one of the most interesting actresses of today and it’s always a pleasure to have her on covers, and on the red carpet!”

“She’s got the best legs in the business,” declared upNorth.

“What I like about seeing Ayo in magazines is that nobody’s trying to convince us she’s a model. Nobody’s using her to replace a real model. She’s there on the basis of the actual work she does as an actor, and not because of some famous surname,” championed tigerrouge.

“Ethan James Green is just such a fantastic photographer. No matter who EJG is photographing, his subjects always look their best. Not at all surprised to see him capturing Ayo Edebiri beautifully here. Throw in Tonne Goodman styling, and it’s a recipe for something pretty wonderful,” vogue28 voiced.
