According to InStyle, Jolie’s recent pose at TIFF was reminiscent of the 2012 Oscars. She wore a black strapless Versace gown with a bold thigh-high slit. The actor was photographed in a similar pose 13 years ago, posing with one leg peeking out from the dress.

The actor plays the role of Maxine Walker, a director who usually works on low-budget horror movies. However, things take a turn when a French fashion house commissions her to direct a movie for their upcoming Paris Fashion Week show.

In an interview with Variety, the Oscar-winner revealed that her recent project felt like a “personal film.” “It felt so private that in my mind, it’s probably the one film that doesn’t feel like a film,” she added.
