Illegal sale of 15 thousand acres of land! Mukhtar and members arrested

It was determined that 14,831 square meters of land in İskender village of Edirne was sold through irregular means. It was determined that the income from the sale was used by the village headman and his members, and an investigation was launched by the Edirne Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "rigging tenders of public institutions and organizations, abuse of office" .

10 suspects were detained by Edirne Gendarmerie Command JASAT teams.

Eight suspects, including the former headman, his members and businessmen, were arrested in the illegal land sales. (AA)

8 OF 10 SUSPECTS ARRESTED

The 10 suspects whose interrogations were taken were sent to Edirne Courthouse. 8 suspects SAB, İ.HK, RK, EK, HK, BB, AB and FA, including the former mukhtar , his members and business people, were arrested. The other 2 suspects, whose names were learned to be EK and SY, were released on condition of judicial control.
