Çiğdem Eskidemirci, who had not been heard from since leaving her home in May of last year, was reported missing by her father to the police station on May 17. As a result of the studies, it was determined that Eskidemirci had not made any transactions in his bank accounts or in any official institution since the date he disappeared. The murder police determined that a line registered to a foreign national was installed in Eskidemirci's mobile phone and that the phone was sold to a dealer the next day.

HE CONFESSED TO MURDER!
The police detained the Afghan national Gholam Sakhi (25) who used the phone in Karapinar district last September. Sakhi, who confessed to killing the young woman, was also detained by his fellow citizens Mr Mohammad (25), Abdul Jabar Noori (24) and Jawad Tabarshah (34), who helped him. The four suspects were arrested by the court to which they were brought.
HE STRANGLED AND BURIED HIM IN THE GARDEN
Murder suspect Gholam Sakhı stated in his statement that he invited Çiğdem Eskidemirci to the house to have sex, that she did not want to pay for sex, that they had an argument, that he strangled her to death with his hands and shoelaces, that he left her body wrapped in a blanket in the basement of the residence and left the house, and that later, Çiğdem's housemates found her body in the basement and buried her body in the garden of the residence. It was learned that Sakhı's friends called him after finding the body, but he said that he did not know about the body.
