He stole his father's car and crashed into 5 vehicles at once
The accident occurred on İnönü Street, Altıntaş Neighborhood, at 00.30 on February 23.
According to the information received, 19-year-old ECA took the official vehicle belonging to the Izmir Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorate (IZSU), where his father works, without his father's knowledge. While driving on Inonu Street, ECA lost control of the steering wheel and the car crashed into five luxury vehicles parked on the side of the road. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of those who witnessed the accident. ECA's friend RAK, who was in the vehicle, survived the accident with minor injuries.
After the accident, Yunus Ceylan, who was in the area and took videos on his motorcycle and shared them on his social media account called 'Ceyvlog', recorded the person who had the accident with his helmet camera. In the footage, ECA, who hit 5 vehicles, was seen saying that his father took his vehicle without his knowledge. On the other hand, the young man was very upset when he learned that the vehicles he hit were luxury vehicles.
ECA, who was also found to be drunk at the time of the accident, was taken to the police station to give his statement. It was learned that 1 vehicle was rendered unusable and 4 other vehicles suffered material damage in the accident. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
